:: Welcome to Nick Ski ::
I'm Nick and own and run Nick Ski, an independent catered ski chalet company with one chalet, Chalet Juba. I run the chalet with my partner and you will always be assured of a warm Nick Ski welcome and plenty of great food and wine, along with a spotless chalet and consistent service. I'd like to share my passion
for skiing and great food in a wonderful forest setting with you and this winter is my 12th season. I take full and part-chalet bookings and for part-chalet bookings by adults we guarantee no small children, toddlers or babies in the remaining rooms outside of UK school holidays. Families with pre-school children are of course welcome to book the whole chalet.
In normal
conditions the chalet is literally ski to the door (see photo on What's New page). The green run is 50 metres away from the chalet and has snow cannons so everyone can ski home. Our location is perfect for your skiing holiday.
Chalet Juba was built to my specifications 12 years ago (all rooms en suite, plenty of hot water, boot driers etc) and is in the pine (Norway Spruce) forests of La Tania which is situated between Courchevel and Meribel in the largest and best skiing area in the world known as The Three Valleys/ Les Trois Vallees.
I used to be a Rep. for the Ski Club of Great Britain (SCGB) and
know the whole area incredibly well and can advise on the best
routes to take and the best runs to try and the daily "piste du jour".
We offer a catered chalet service (demi-pension, 6 nights a week) with great wines from the French Autumn "Wine Fairs" and hope you enjoy them too. I have always loved cooking and we have planned delicious home-cooked meals for you. On our day off you sort your own breakfast and eat out in one of the local restaurants in the evening.
Our aim is to make your skiiing holiday a special and memorable occasion and many of our guests return each year and we would like to welcome lots of new guests as well. Reviews by Previous Guests. Nick Ski Facebook Page.

About La Tania ::
La
Tania was purpose built for the Olympic Games in 1992 and has
plenty of nice bars and restaurants with live music most nights of the week; Pizzas, Michelin Star Gourmet Food, Cocktail lounge, Savoyard Fayre, English Pub, Modern Euro/British Bistro.......Pub le Ski Lodge is particularly popular with lots of promotions and party nights. There are several ski hire shops and a small supermarket, post office and tourist office. It's a 5 minute walk to the resort centre from the chalet.
Access to skiing is spot on; a modern Gondola and then a fast
chair lift which whisks you to the top of the mountain in no time, straight into either the Meribel or Courchevel
Valleys. Of course La Tania also has some great runs of its own. At the end of the day there are 3 lovely tree-lined runs back to the resort and the blue and green have snow cannons all the way down.

:: The Three Valleys ::
The area is incredibly vast with nearly 400 miles of pisted runs, of which over 150 miles have snow cannons. We never get bored skiing the Three Valleys and many guests return each year.
We regularly ski to Val Thorens and the 4th Valley, Orelle in a day.
There is an incredible amount of off-piste skiing lasting days after snow-falls.
There
is also a free bus service to Courchevel Le Praz and up to 1850 which operates
until late evening.
