:: Book now for 2008/2009 Season, many weeks filling up ::

Hi, my name is Nick, I own and run Nick Ski and would like to share my passion for skiing and great food in a wonderful forest setting with you. In normal conditions the chalet is literally ski to the door. The new green run is 50 meters away from the chalet so everyone can ski home.

Chalet Juba was built 6 years ago and is in the pine (actually Norway Spruce) forests of La Tania which is situated between Courchevel and Meribel in the largest and best skiing area in the world known as The Three Valleys.

I know the whole area incredibly well and can advise on the best routes to take and the best runs to try.

We offer a Catered Chalet service (demi-pension, 6 nights a week). We select great wines from the autumn "Wine Fairs" and hope you enjoy them too. Joanna spent 15 years in the Food Industry and also teaches Food Hygiene. I have always loved cooking and together we have planned delicious meals for you. On our day off you fix your own breakfast and eat out in one of the local resturants in the evening.

My partner, Joanna and I run the chalet ourselves and our aim is to make your holiday a special and memorable occasion.

:: About La Tania ::

La Tania was purpose built for the Olympic Games in 1992 and has plenty of nice bars and restaurants with live music most nights of the week; Pizzas, Michelin Star Gourmet Food, Cocktail lounge, Savoyard Fayre (fondue, raclette), English Pub, Modern Euro/British Bistro.......

There is a modern Gondola and then a fast chair lift which whisks you to the top of the mountain in no time, this then gives you access to either the Meribel or Courchevel Valleys. At the end of the day there are 3 lovely tree-lined runs back to the resort and the blue has snow cannons all the way down. The new green run, constructed 2 summers ago, and 50m from the chalet, has since been improved making it even easier to get back at the end of the day.

:: The Three Valleys::

The area is incredibly vast with nearly 400 miles of pisted runs, of which over 150 miles have snow cannons. We never get bored skiing the Three Valleys and many guests return each year.

We regularly ski to Val Thorens and the 4th Valley, Orelle in a day.

There is an incredible amount of off-piste skiing lasting days after snow-falls.

There is also a free bus service to Courchevel which operates until late evening.
