Chalet Juba is nestled in the beautiful pine forests of La Tania at 1400 metres and with snow canons lining the runs down to resort you will always be able to ski back down. The new easy/green run home, Plan Fontaine, is only 50m from the chalet and 20 new snow canons were installed in 2010.

The village of La Tania is between Courchevel and Meribel in the Three Valleys area of France and is arguably the best and the largest ski area in the world.

The village has access to the 3 Valleys area by 2 modern high speed lifts which then give you the option of skiing into Courchevel or Meribel (and onto Val Thorens).

In normal conditions it is possible to ski back to the door of the chalet.

The centre of the village is accessed by a public lift approximately five minutes walk from the chalet where the local ski shops are very helpful and there are a number of friendly bars, resturants and shops.

I had the chalet built to my specifiation about 11 years ago and it can accommodate 12 people in 6 twin or double bedrooms, all have en-suite facilities, three also have balconies. There is always plenty of hot water for all the baths/showers as it is oil-heated and the interior of the chalet is a non-smoking area. The lounge has a wood-burning stove and plenty of space for everyone to sit comfortably on big leather sofas and relax after skiing. The large boot room on the ground floor has boot driers and there is also plenty of car parking space next to the chalet. We enter and exit via the bootroom. We also have wifi for guests to use.
